Reservation of Services
We collect personal information, which we receive from you when you make reservations to use our services, such as restaurant reservations and B and B bookings. This may be by using an on-line reservation system (eg “Quandoo”) via Facebook or the Site, by phone, email (firstname.lastname@example.org) , verbal or written request. It may include names, mailing and email addresses, phone numbers and service preferences (such as dietary requests).
This information will normally be stored in perpetuity in an on-line reservation system, which can only be accessed by trained and trusted Vane Arms employees.
We may use this information to contact you about your service requests or to contact you with marketing/promotional materials about our business. We will not pass the information onto third parties, except to new owners in the circumstance that the business is sold as a going concern.
If you pay for services via non-contactless use of debit or credit cards we will keep the merchant copies of the chip and pin transactions for the purposes of resolving any possible payment problems. The paper copies will be kept under lock and key for a minimum of 1 month (for the purpose of verifying payments), but no more than 6 months after which they will be physically destroyed.
